Every Breaking Wave U2 Poster

For this project, I chose a word found in the song Every Breaking Wave by U2 lyrics. From that, I developed two visual directions for the poster designs. The first is the claustrophobic feeling of being trapped. The sense that you cannot escape a situation or emotional space. The second is another form of helplessness. An empty, floating sensation that occurs when everything feels out of your control, even amid constant distractions.
