Brief

A conceptual identity system for a future Olympic Games hosted in Cairo, Egypt. I designed a custom ambigram wordmark inspired by the geometric forms of ancient hieroglyphics and the angles of pyramids. I expanded it into a cohesive visual system across event graphics, apparel, credentials, signage, and merchandise. The color palette is rooted in Egyptian history: Cuproriva is named after the mineral responsible for the world’s first synthetic blue pigment, Desher is the ancient Egyptian word for “red,” and Sand reflects Egypt’s iconic desert landscape.
